The Radeon HD 4890 XT outdistances the HD 4870 by over 10 per cent in Company of Heroes: OF (DX10), bringing performance close to a GeForce GTX 260. The extra muscle of the OC part gives another few fps, but it's still lags very slightly behind the older card from NVIDIA.

The green team's cards have traditionally done well in this game, so seeing the GTX 275 streak ahead of the Radeons comes as no surprise. Indeed, it's some 33 per cent faster at 1,920x1,200.
