What else do you get?

The bundle is low-key and sparse. Hardware-wise, there's the required Molex-to-PCIe cable and catering for older displays is a DVI-to-VGA dongle. An overclocking utility is included, but it's of academic value when so many third-party tools do a good job.

Warranty

eVGA does well here, giving you a 10-year limited warranty, but make sure to register within 30 days from the original date of purchase or the warranty reverts to just one year.

Any returns application must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt. Send the board back without the right documents and it will come straight back to you - at your own expense.

The warranty doesn't apply if you modify the card, so you can't change the cooler or add or remove anything else, including stickers.

Take note of these caveats, though, and eVGA, it seems, will look after you better than most other board vendors.

There's no mention of explicit RMA turnaround time that we can see, but if you contact EVGA's RMA team (rma@evga.com), you'll be given an estimate based on where you are in the world and the current workload in turning around requests. The team is your first port of call for a warranty replacement, so get in touch.

The company also offers a 90-day step-up program - limited to continental US, Canada, and Europe - to let you upgrade your graphics board within three months of registration. Full details are here on EVGA's website.
