DOOM 3

DOOM 3 still runs better on equivalent NVIDIA hardware. The NVIDIA meat in the GTO² sandwich is the GeForce 6600 GT here.

Adding image enhancement brings the 16-pipe GTO² to within 20% of a Radeon X850 XT and GeForce 6800 GT's performance. Turning the default card into a full four-quad version adds around a third extra performance when the benchmmarks become shader/fillrate-limited. That makes implicit sense, as an extra quad adds 33% extra shading power, assuming clock speeds are kept constant.
