Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 performance is largely determined by the throughput of the subsystem. In the case of our test Athlon 64 4000+ and 1GByte of low-latency memory, 1600x1200 performance is perfectly acceptable.

Raising the image quality bar doesn't do much to hurt performance. Again, 1600x1200 is deliciously smooth.
