ATI cards fare far better in GRID than their NVIDIA rivals, too, with the HD 4850 matching the performance of the GTX 260.

We reckon that Leadtek is pehaps using some lower-latency memories on its GeForce 9800 GTX+, bringing performance closer to the ZOTAC's than anticipated when looking purely at the frequencies.
