Again, we see the AMP! edition offer no tangible difference to the reference card, bizzarely, but both offer playable framerates up to 1,920x1,200.

The GTX 260 certainly shines at the new £165 price-point, outperforming the now-similarly-priced Radeon HD 4870.

Results for the ATI cards at 2,560x1,600 are not shown as there was an unacceptable ammount of variance between runs. However, the Radeon HD 4870 scored around 30fps (18 per cent variance between three runs) and the HD 4850 around 26fps.
