Boosting to higher speeds naturally results in higher power consumption, but what's an extra five per cent between friends?

Crucially, noise levels are lower, too. Excellent results all round, but if you're looking for near-silence, the RTX 3070 Ti Suprim X still stands apart. Perusing our log files reveals that the 3080 Ti variant has to run its fans at higher speeds in order to tame the lofty overclock, and at these extremes, our review unit exhibits noticeable coil whine that can be off-putting in an otherwise quiet build.
