We said that GeForce RTX 3080 Ti would be close to the RTX 3090. Though we don't have a Founders Edition model to compare against, the Gigabyte card benchmarks at about the same pace.
That's no surprise once you appreciate the underlying firepower, of course, so perhaps Nvidia should have gone down the imputed RTX 3090 Lite route instead.
