Power, Temperature and Noise

Our findings suggest the Nitro+ pulls a further 33W over and above the reference board. Such a figure is understandable as Sapphire increases the core frequency and voltage in order to achieve higher frequencies.

Nitro+ usually does very well in the thermals department. The latest model is no exception. Great work here.

The fans spin at 1,220rpm and produce hardly any perceivable noise. We've said it before, we'll say it again; Sapphire knows how to build great aftermarket solutions.

Knocking it into Quiet Mode lessens fan speed to around 1,100rpm and performance to MBA levels. The card is eerily quiet in that setting.
