Power, Temperature and Noise
An increase in board power results in system-wide power consumption climbing by just over five per cent. Not a huge amount, but we suspect the Founders Edition will prove to be the most efficient of all RTX 3070s.
MSI's Gaming X Trio, on the other hand, may prove to be the coolest of all RTX 3070s. 63ºC under load is very healthy indeed.
Better still, those enviable temperatures are achieved with little in the way of noise. MSI's cooler keeps things silent when idle and quiet while in game. Top marks here.
