Gears 5 builds on the franchise to offer a deeply satisfying campaign on the slick console port. Like a fine wine, the series gets better with age.
Gears 5 seems a little more susceptible to peak GPU frequency than most titles. Still, there's not a lot in it and there's an automatic temptation to just go for the cheapest RTX 3080, which happens to be Nvidia's Founders Edition.
