DOOM 3 performance has always belonged to NVIDIA, even with ATI closing the gap with newer drivers. Again, the 1280x1024 resolution, we feel, is the critical one, and the X800 GT 256MB card produces an extra 25% performance above the X700 Pro's. Adding 4x AA and 8x AF, though, and all cards begin to struggle in high-quality mode.
