Power consumption is hardly a cause for concern on this mid-range models.

Here's where MSI's Gaming X cooler begins to set itself apart from the competition. Under-load temperature is comfortably below 70ºC.

Keeping cool is only half the challenge. We alluded to low noise levels earlier in the review, but here's the proof. MSI's card is silent when idle (we didn't notice any perceivable coil whine) and barely audible under load. An excellent choice for a quiet PC.
