Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is painful on all low-end cards. The test appears to be somewhat CPU-limited, judging by the lack of performance degradation from 1,024x768 to 1,280x720.

Summary

The optimum resolution for these budget cards is 1,024x768, with low-to-medium I.Q. settings.

Pure performance is generally similar on three reviewed cards, but, on balance, falls a little short when compared to the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT GDDR3, which enjoys a huge memory-bandwidth advantage.
