Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

Running the DX9 code-path and with image-quality set to low, all cards produce playable frame-rates in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

As a comparison, a 780G chipset's IGP returns around 32fps at 1,024x768, almost besting the discrete Gigabyte card's.

The Radeon HD 2400 XT grabs the lead, thanks to its memory-bandwidth advantage, and the Sapphire card is slightly faster than the HIS, just as we expected.

Turning on the heat with DX10 effects included, all cards begin passable imitations of a slideshow at both resolutions. Indeed, we'd not recommend running DX10 with these cards and this game, irrespective of I.Q. and resolution.
