Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
ATI has something to shout about in Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, where its Radeon HD 3870s bring performance parity with NVIDIA's overclocked GeForce 9600 GTs.
Still, however, the 1GiB HD 3850's framebuffer does little to improve performance, especially as the average framerate dips closer to 30fps, where increases are genuinely useful in maintaining fluid gameplay.
