We're back on point in Far Cry 5. Performance is both GTX 1070-like and fluid at QHD. The numbers are also a significant step up from RX 590 and GTX 1060, and it's almost 3x the speed of GTX 960 2GB.
Yet what these graphs show is the performance uplift from GTX 960 to GTX 1060 was massive, verging on 2x, and accomplished within 18 months. The subsequent 40 per cent uptick from GTX 1060 to GTX 1660 Ti has taken almost three years.
