We're mixing things up with RTX overclocking. Rather than the play the GPU lottery and push samples to their absolute limit, we're keeping things consistent between cards by using Precision X1's built-in Scanner Tool to help determine an optimal frequency curve.
RTX 2060 has decent headroom, and it's no effort at all to get the card operating at base and boost clocks of 1,472MHz and 1,937MHz, respectively. Memory, meanwhile, happily ran at an effective 15.4Gbps.
A quick and easy overclock further closes the gap on RTX 2070. Though, let's not forget, in the case of the ROG Strix OC, you could just buy an RTX 2070 for a few pounds more and save yourself the hassle.
