Is out-the-box performance enough to justify the RTX 2070? That's debatable, as the card isn't hugely faster than the ageing GTX 1080, but Nvidia has bet heavily on the Turing architecture. A good chunk of silicon is reserved for forward-looking features, and RTX GPUs are crying out for games that harness the likes of DLSS.
