Power, Temperature and Noise
Add-in-board partners must surely miss the days of hot-and-bothered FE cards. Nvidia's new dual-fan Founders Edition design looks elegant, runs cool, and does a good job of keeping quiet. MSI's Gaming X Trio manages to lower temperature another notch or two, and it of course runs silent at low load, however power consumption is higher than the reference board, and when the fans get going, they're reasonably quiet but actually a tad louder than the FE.
