Here's where things get interesting. The small hike in frequency ensures that power consumption takes a hit, yet MSI's cooler is more than up to the task, keeping temperature to 75ºC under load. What's interesting is that fan noise isn't too dissimilar to the Founders Edition - Duke has the advantage of fans that switch off when idle, but when the going gets tough both cards keep reasonably quiet.
