Power, Temperature and Noise
Heightened speeds make the GameRock Premium Edition a tad thirstier than the other RTX 2080s we've benchmarked, yet Palit does a fine job of taming the GPU. Under-load temperature is well within the limit, and when the going gets tough the dual fans create a steady hum that, while noticeable, is quieter than all the other cards on show.
The only caveat during testing is that the fans on our review model wouldn't turn off at low load. We're putting that down to a bug on what is most likely an early sample, but it hardly matters; the card is barely audible inside our test machine when idle.
