Some would call it the ultimate turn-based strategy game, and who are we to argue? Civilization VI is an excellent way to lose a few hours, and with more expansive empires than ever before, a capable PC is needed to experience the game at its very best.
The RTX 2080 Ti loses no performance as we move from FHD to QHD - the only card to manage this feat. Performance at 4K is still very good, beating out GTX 1080 Ti by 40 per cent.
Do you really need this level of performance for a game such as Civilization VI? Probably not, but the new RTX cards have it in spades. Here is a case of where all the present-day rendering goodness comes together effectively.
