Going back to Windows XP - a far better choice for gaming, really - and re-testing an old favourite at the highest in-game settings, we see that it's all much of a muchness as far as the X2, GTX and Ultra graphics-cards are concerned. >60fps at 2,560x1,600 is always nice.
