Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Homepage: shadowofwar.com | Publisher: Warner Bros | Developer: Monolith Productions

In the epic sequel to the award-winning Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, go behind enemy lines to forge an army, conquer Fortresses and dominate Mordor from within. Experience how the award winning Nemesis System creates unique personal stories with every enemy and follower, and confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron and his Ringwraiths in this epic new story of Middle-earth.

Framerate is pretty damn important in Middle-earth: Shadow of War. In the midst of a heated battle, twisting this way and that to dodge orc spears and unavoidable attacks, you really need the minimum fps to be solid. That appears to be the case with Nvidia GPUs, so whilst the RX Vega 56 puts up an equivalent average showing, we'd go with the GTX 1070 Ti, at QHD and ultra quality, for this addictive slashfest.

It ought to be clear by now that QHD and ultra settings are the way to go with a GTX 1070 Ti GPU.
