Eager to see if your PC is ready for the demands of a virtual reality headset? VRMark could be the benchmark you need. Offering two virtual reality tests and with no headset required, this free-to-download utility is a useful method of gauging your system's VR readiness.
According to developer Futuremark, the Orange Room test mimics the demands of popular VR solutions such as the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Blue Room, on the other hand, is a higher-resolution, more demanding test that gauges suitability for next-generation VR headsets. A score of 5,000 is required to pass either benchmark, and you'd need some crazy rig to get close to that for the second, more demanding test.
The Futuremark tests finish off with the GTX 1060 6GB card extending its lead. Can the Radeon pull it back in real-world games?
