The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
There has been plenty of uncertainty surrounding multi-GPU support in DX12 titles, but developers appear to have responded. Gears of War 4 enjoys the CrossFire configuration, particularly at the higher resolutions, where a second RX 580 makes a genuine difference to gameplay.
