The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
What's happening at 1080p in Gears of War 4? We're not entirely sure, though we suspect the anomaly is a result of driver updates and a newer version of Windows 10. Performance at the higher resolutions is right in line with expectations.
