The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
It's at the higher resolutions that the faster memory comes into play. 4K UHD gaming tends to be outside the remit of the GTX 1080, OC or otherwise, but it's a fine choice for silky-smooth action at 2,560x1,440.
