Overclocking
The Radeon RX 480 isn't a great overclocker, and Asus won't be using the finest GPUs for its Dual OC variant. What's handy is that the card does have an overclocking profile built-in, which when enabled via the Asus software utility, nudges core speed from 1,300MHz to 1,320MHz. We struggled to go any higher (1,330MHz was enough to introduce instability), but we were able to run the 1,320MHz core alongside memory overclocked to an effective 7,400MHz.
This isn't a card geared for overclocking enthusiasts, and you'll do well to increase performance by any meaningful amount.
