Notes
Athlon 64 3000+ performance, both default and overclocked, will be compared to an Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz LGA775 Prescott's and an AMD Athlon XP3200's. Both comparison CPUs are priced in the crucial £100-£120 bracket, making them perfect material by which to judge the Athlon 64 3000+ S939 against.
Benchmarks were conducted at 1024x768 85Hz unless otherwise stated. Each test was carried out 3 times and the highest and lowest results were discarded.
