Excellent idle characteristics from all systems. Remember the Core i7-6950X has four RAM modules and a GTX 1080.

We evaluate this portion by averaging the load during the intensive HandBrake test. Our sample chip is very efficient, knocking a whole 21W off a Core i7-5960X run on the same motherboard. Impressive stuff.

Gaming load is remarkably similar across platforms.
