The 14nm process adopted by Skylake means that the relatively weak IGP barely tickles the overall 91W power budget of this chip. Reiterating previous commentary, we think Intel has been conservative in placing such a high TDP for a cutting-edge processor, because there's little reason why this chip can't fit inside a 65W TDP.
