Benchmarks II
A clean sweep in the 2D benchmarks. 3DMark 2001SE v330 now.
We had hopes of crossing the 19,000-mark threshold; it wasn't to be, sadly. We'd wager that it would cross the 19k barrier easily on either the ASUS P4P800 or an IS7-G (both Springdales with PAT-like technology) with the new, performance-enhancing BIOS.
Serious Sam 2's Sierra De Chiapas Demo plays host to the next benchmark. The timedemo is set to Quality but anisotropic filtering is disabled. Run at 1024x768x32.
Top again, but not by all that much.
Comanche 4 is usually places more emphasis on pure MHz speed than memory bandwidth.
Almost a 5% gain here over the 3.0GHz CPU. That's more like it.
