Eight cores, 4.7GHz, multi-threaded apps
A benchmark where the 4.7GHz-clocked FX-8150 does well in.
And there's a nice boost in the all-core-aware CINEBENCH.
But the shared-resource nature of the Bulldozer core is made all too apparent in wPrime. The 237-second computational time is hot, eclipsing a stock-clocked 2600K, yet the previous-generation 1100T is in the same benchmarking ballpark. AMD has no answer to the six-core, 12-threaded Gulftown chips.Wouldn't AMD just love all benchmarks to use AES acceleration? The first (and only) time it heads the charts.
