Benchmarks: Power Consumption
All that power saps a big chunk of energy. Whether idle or under load, Intel's trio of 130W hexa-core processors are clearly the least power efficient parts in our line up.
Here's where the efficiency of Sandy Bridge's honed architecture really begins to shine. Both the Core i5 2500K and Core i7 2600K offer excellent performance, and they're not particularly thirsty, either.
