Performance benchmarks I
Excepting the goliath that is the 980X EE, the AMD 1100T's advantage over the Intel Core i7 chips lies with possessing more physical cores. The HEXUS.PiFast test, however, relies on instructions per clock cycle and frequency above all else, and the CPUs' Turbo ability is more important than number of cores.
3.7GHz of core power means that this is AMD's fastest chip to date.
The bottom two tests use all the cores you can throw at them. The 1100T does a very good job at keeping the four-core, eight-threaded Core i7 chips at bay here, but, honestly, any of these processors are good enough for the usual everyday tasks.
