Extending on our DivX benchmark, we're now running the same test whilst rendering a 1080p QuickTime clip.
We see that the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition takes roughly 24 seconds longer to complete the DivX encode with the additional load, but it remains ahead of Intel's Core 2 Quads. The Core i7 920 stays ahead.

Similar idea, here we run our DivX benchmark in the background whilst running Enemy Territory: Quake Wars at 1,680x1,050. Similar results, too, with the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition once again edging out Intel's Core 2 Quads. There's no catching the Core i7 920, though.

Here's how Enemy Territory: Quake Wars performed with a DivX encode running in the background. There's little to choose between all eight systems, and the 3.4GHz Phenom is marginally quicker than the older 3.2GHz model (who'd have thought?).
