Focussing on CPU-centric tasks next, Xeon 8380 does better than Xeon 8280 in each test, as expected.

However, the relatively low all-core boost speed of 3.0GHz doesn't do it any major favours compared to either high-frequency 32-core or mid-frequency 64-core Epyc chips. AMD still rules the roost here
