HEXUS Bang4Buck and Bang4Watt
The performance benchmarks on the previous pages tell part of the story, but it is always fun to add some Bang4Buck metrics into the mix. Do be aware that there are many methods of calculating such results - different benchmarks will skew the outcome, and prices can both fluctuate daily and vary wildly depending on region.
We've chosen to use the multi-threaded Cinebench R20 test as a basis for our results, and pricing was taken from the SRP list as of April 8, 2021.
Dividing the all-core score by the SRP gives us the following bang4buck.
Performance isn't amazing, of course, but the keen street price of $262 makes it look appropriately good here.
This graph divides the same Cinebench result with the system-wide power consumption we observe during evaluation.
Wouldn't it be nice if this chip did have a 65W TDP? That would certainly help push it to nearer the top of this chart, too. This is why we prefer something like the $213 Core i5-11600 - a 65W model with an all-core 4.3GHz frequency.
Combining the two leaves the premier K model nearer the bottom.
