These are standard tests that generally favour more cores and threads, particularly the first three where the dual 24-core 7402 chips have a definite advantage.

Having higher frequency and more cache propels the pair of 7F52 chips to about 20 percent higher performance than 7302. That's all well and good, but do remember that 7F72 costs over 3x as much.

The Linux kernel build time is interesting insofar as it does highlight some of the advantages of having higher frequencies; there's enough performance to jump into first place.
