My Crypto test for HEXUS scales almost linearly with CPU frequency, based on FPU performance. FX-57's 5% increase in performance compared to FX-55 is in line with the frequency increase.

The 7% increase in clock frequency compared to FX-55 is almost entirely matched by the increase in performance that's shown by Realstorm. It therefore enjoys the FPU performance increase more than any new performance to be found in the memory subsystem.

Kribibench v1.1

Kribi is a software 3D renderer that pushes pixels using nothing but the CPU. It's criminal to see such a powerful 3D accelerator sit idle, as the X850 XT PE does here, but since we're testing CPU-bound performance, it has to be so!

Kribibench v1.1

Compared to FX-55, FX-57 scales outside of its CPU clock increase, hinting at the memory controller tweaks that San Diego has gained, compared to Clawhammer. Multi-core processors like the 840 XE and the X2 4800+ make light work of this multi-threaded test, and the Pentium 4 is favoured over AMD's offerings.
