We've reduced the gaming resolution to 1024x768 to downplay the potential performance-levelling effects caused by a GPU bottleneck, even one as potent as a GeForce 8800 GTX.





Quake 4 is one benchmarks that absolutely thrives on increased processor execution speed and memory throughput. The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 produces a near-10 per cent advantage compared to the already-fast QX9650.



Just a little bit faster, as always.
