A 14nm process and refined core do wonders for AMD's comparative power consumption. It's solid at idle, more than acceptable for 2D rendering - it leads the pack in performance here - and matches the two bigger Intel chips when gaming. Temperature, meanwhile, doesn't appear to be a problem, with our review chip keeping below 59ºC throughout the benchmarks.
