Introduction

So you’ve had your over clocked Athlon for a while now and it aunt kind of biting the bullet, you have looked all over the place for a 850 core Athlon 700, and you couldn’t find one! So you need to push your little 650 cores with the 3.6ns cache to a higher speed. We decided this was a true job for an Alpha heat sink! We got our ABIT Ka7, slapped on an Alpha and a Maximizer and thought we had the perfect set-up!

Alpha has just released the new P7125. The P7125 is the same idea as the original P125 with a small section of fins cut shorter; this means it can fit all Athlon motherboards. I know a lot of people who have taken a hacksaw to there lovely alpha to make it the same, but at the end of the day one nice feature of the alpha is the kick ass looks! Also the P7125 retains the features of the P3125 and the original P125.
