With the 5.25” bays up top being standard affairs involving too many screws and a screwdriver I’d just bore you to sleep talking about them, so moving swiftly on we have the 3.5” bays.

Mounted between the front and the graphics-cooling solution are two HDD trays, each capable of holding three 3.5” devices. Removing the trays is easy; just squeeze the handle in on either side and out they slide.

The hard drives are a tight fit, especially with the foam strips that are pre-fitted, I managed to chew one up the first time round, but with the screws added the drives weren’t going anywhere.

In between the HDD trays is yet another 120mm fan mount. This brings the total number of fans to five when fully loaded. Like the PSU area before it, the HDD area also features a meshed base allowing the HDD fan to drawn in the air from outside the chassis
