External Appearance – Continued - Open Sesame
The Mystique’s dominating feature is the split door on the front, constructed of pure aluminium. There are three pieces to its construction - the front plate and two hinges, one top and one bottom.
Popping off the hinge cover reveals the workings of the doors themselves, with a very simple cog-based system giving a smooth motion, and the doors themselves have magnets set into them to provide a solid seal when closed.
With the door open, a simple pull on the mesh front panel takes it away from the chassis allowing direct access to the drive bays, all of which feature tool-less mounting mechanisms. The front panel itself is obviously designed to be used in a number of different chassis designs, with the mountings for the power and reset buttons still available on the right.
