Cooling

This I think could be the only disadvantage in the design if this case. The way the case was designed the cd-rom has to go over or near the cpu socket. This does mean that you have to be wise when choosing a cooler. I am currently using the retail Intel hs/f and there is about 2mm clearance between the bottom of the DVD and the top of the fan. Although i have been informed by Leon from forums.hexus.net that his Lite-on CD-RW is a smaller sized drive then my Pioneer DVD and his unit doesn't hang over as much as the picture below shows.

There is a space on the rear of the case for an additional 60mm exhaust fan. I personally recommend in using this because the temperatures I experience with my spec are brilliant compared over the noise that is quiet and welcome in a sitting room environment. Currently I am running a 60mm YS-Tech fan and its doing the job fine.

Temps

I am really impressed by the temperatures that I get.

Idle(on average): 27 degrees

Under stress (in 3dmark2002): 31 degrees

Now remember were in a smallish case now and not some massive tower with intake and multiple fans and in my system the DVD drive overhangs the CPU fan.
