The sunniest May since records began has wreaked havoc on our testing. Still, going by delta temperature, the Define 7 Compact has no problem cooling our Radeon CPU.
On one of the warmest days of the year so far, GPU temperature inevitably climbs higher, though delta temperature is comparable to Fractal's larger sibling.
Some cases are better than others at containing noise. Fractal's Define Series typically fares well in this regard, and with the right components we're convinced the Define 7 Compact could be made to run extremely quiet; our test platform is barely audible when idle, though the straining graphics card is evident in this remarkable weather.
