Internal impressions

Inside, the TJ-10 is also very similar to the excellent TJ-09. The much-vaunted graphics-cooling solution is there once more but we'll come to that later.

Partly because of the TJ-10's party piece, the two cages for internal hard disks sit at 90 degrees to the front. There is no active cooling at all in the front, as standard. So, without adding a fan, you'll have to rely on the heat from the six potential HDDs being released through the mesh on the side panels.

If you don't want to take a chance, then there is a fan-cradle ready and waiting between the two HDD caddies.

The rear layout is almost the same as on the TJ-09, though we start to see how much of a potential difference those new vented expansions slots could make to the cooling performance of the TJ-10.

Another thing to mention is the length of the cables for the expansion console that sits up front at the top. They're longer than average and colour-coded, too. These thoughtful touches are hardly rocket science but they do make the whole build-process that bit easier.
